Usage

Add a footnote directly after the relevant text:

Some text.{{Footnote|body=Your footnote text.}}

The numbers and Footnotes list are generated automatically. Hover or focus a number for a preview; click it to jump to the full note. Use the return arrow to go back.

Use a name to repeat the same footnote:

{{Footnote|name=example|body=The footnote text.}}
{{Footnote|name=example}}

The editor snippets are fn (new footnote), fnn (named footnote), and fnr (repeat a named footnote). Type the prefix and press Tab. Prefer body= for text containing equals signs or maths. Use {{!}} for a literal pipe inside a template argument.

Footnotes are included in live preview, fullscreen and lecture/module print output. Without JavaScript, their text remains readable inline.
